Camp Mary Anne Resort

We spent 4 nights in the boathouse. What a beautiful accommodation! The location is very central and was perfect for day trips to Providence Bay, Cup and Saucer Trail, Bridal Veil Falls, Gore Bay and Little Current. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot for our vacation.

Very quiet and relaxing. The owners were awesome to work with and they people on site for care takers. Well taken care of. Beautiful lake to be beside.

Me and a few friends stayed at Cabin 5 last weekend. The Cabin is brand new and the view just speaks for itself. The host Shelley and Kyra are nice and responsive. Definitely coming back next year.

This was our second time staying in the Boathouse and we enjoyed it very much. It is the perfect location for peace and quiet and the most beautiful water at your doorstep. We loved using the kayaks, swimming off the dock and the easy access to great hiking on the island. The Boathouse is very clean and Kyra, the Property Manager is so helpful. Highly recommend the Boathouse for your next stay!

This was my second year staying at Camp Maryanne, and both years have been great. The location is amazing, quiet and peaceful. The wildlife is even friendly! I stayed in Cabin 2 my first year with my partner, and while we found that a little small, it was exactly as advertised...except the BBQ. It was putting out next to no heat. I called Kyra about it, and she was at the cabin within the hour...with her own BBQ to make sure my partner and I enjoyed our stay. Past that, I discovered a wasp nest right next to the water and was stung. I reached out to Kyra about it as well, and she was there very quickly with some spray and took care of the pests easily. All that was left was for my partner to put some topical on my sting, which she still makes fun of me about. This year, we stayed at Cabin 7, which was much better for us, and more "private" as it is the last cabin along the lane. Kyra stopped by and was charming as always, the cabin was clean and ready for us to use.

Amazing place to stay on the island. I've been to a better cabin but the location was by far worse than Maryanne ! I'd take the rustic feel on the edge of lake Manitou any day! I've stayed in Cabin 2 and 3 and have had family and friends in cabin 6 and 7. Cabin 7 seems to be the best qaulity for the rustic feel and Cabin 2 for the best dock/swimming area. They now have 2 new cabins that look amazing but are more costly (plus the boathouse). Definitely less rustic and better qaulity for the extra $. Everything was clean, well taken care of (thanks Kyra!) and beautiful as always. Kyra even found my glasses and mailed them to me after my stay. She rocks!! For improvements, I recommend better window shades for cabin 3 and 6 (especially in the bathrooms), ladders/safe way to get into the water, and more storage space in the kitchen for cabin 3 + a new couch. P.s. love the new BBQs!

Camp Mary Anne is a wonderful property. Located on a beautiful quiet bay it is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. There are a mixture of new and original cottages to rent, depending on your budget and/or desire for rustic holidaying. The location is also perfect for local grocery, hospital and attractions on Manitoulin. We have been visiting Camp Mary Ann for over 25 years, and we will continue to return there for as long, and often as we can.

I have stayed at Camp Mary Anne for three years running now and always eagerly await my next visit. I prefer the old cottage, while not fancy, it's clean and all supplies are provided. The manager Kyra is also superb, always making sure we have enough of everything. And of course, there is the spectacularly beautiful Lake Manitou. So fantastic for swimming and watching sunrises. I do not have a single complaint against this wonderful place.
